Dog Days

Hello 2013! To start the year off, would like to post some of the projects I worked on last year that I didn't get to upload before.

Here is an image for an article titled "Dog Days" featured in Charleston Magazine, it's a cute story.
You can check out the digital version and read the story here: http://charlestonmag.com/charleston_magazine/feature/dog_days

Ford Model T

Sorry for the looo-oooo-oooong break between posts!
I will get better at updating this blog :) :) :)

So here is a series of posters celebrating the Ford T Model and Americana theme. They were created for the Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival and Concours d'Elegance. It was fun researching all the different car models, they are so stylish!

Family

Hey there :)
Today I'm showing you 2 illustrations I did for Chesapeake Family Magazine ( Art Director Jenny Cardoza) on an article titled "United Front". Its an interesting article about authority, discipline and how parents need to be on the same page.

:)

Finally the winter quarter is coming to an end. Its been long, challenging and enjoyable! Perhaps this has been my favorite quarter so far. Been really wrapped up with my homework assignments that I hadn't had the time to stop by and update. Anyways! Here is drawing from one of my assignments in FASH 713 with Professor Mengjie (http://mengjiedi.blogspot.com/)
It was done based on this lovely photograph (i forgot where I found it) :

food and finance!

This image was done for Ryan Sanchez's Markets class where I had to do an illustration in the food market. So I chose to re-design a cookbook cover for "Food to Live By". At the end the typography wasn't very strong so I left it out :) Hope next time I am able to incorporate type better.

It was done to fit into the finance market!
